PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE:

Many years ago, Haser was born on Lekinioch Island from the Mortlocks Region in Chuuk State. He was appointed Public Auditor for the National Government of the Federated States of Micronesia by President Leo A. Falcam in November 2002 and remains in the post since then. After college years, he returned to work in Chuuk for nearly 2 years before he was hired as a Junior Auditor for the National Government in 1986. He also spent 10 years at the FSM Development Bank from 1992 to 2002 initially as Internal Auditor, then as Chief Financial Officer and ended his tour there as Senior Vice President before he was confirmed by Congress as National Public Auditor. Haser is the current Chairman for the Association of the Pacific Islands Public Auditors (APIPA), serves as a Pastor at the Pacific Mission Fellowship, and he says that he likes his jobs! He graduated from Chaminade University of Honolulu in 1984, Truk High School in 1979, the Mortlocks Junior High School in 1977, and the Lukunor Elementary School in 1975.
