ONPA hires a New Executive Secretary

The Office of the National Public Auditor welcomes Maureen Edward as the new executive secretary replacing Hileen Jack, who resigned at the end of November last year to join her family in the US mainland. Maureen commenced work on December 03, 2008.

Maureen is originally from the Municipality of Kitti in the State of Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia.

Maureen studied Business Administration at Walla Walla College in Washington State in the US mainland after studying at the College of Micronesia-FSM, Pohnpei from 2002 to 2003.

Before her recruitment, Maureen worked as the executive secretary for the US Ambassador and Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Kolonia, Pohnpei from May to November in 2007. Prior to that, she was the secretary at the Pohnpei Seventh Day Adventist School from August 2003 to May 2007 and as a Legal secretary at the R. Barrie Michelsen Law Firm in Kolonia from June 1990 to June 1992.
